Tony Klarich: Parting the Green Sea

I have been often told this shot reminds them of Moses parting the Red Sea, for the old Charlton Heston classic “The Ten Commandments.” It is definitely a unique perspective, with the camera mounted directly onto my oak paling.
The ski is 1” x 4” x 5’6” oak board. It does not have binding or a fin. The paling is quite a challenge to ride, and is not one of the crowd favorites, but it almost always manages to find its way into my ski bag.
